CURRENT PROJECTS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
FEED ME! APPRENTICE and INTERN MEALS
Cultivate community by hosting family-style dinners in the Dining Hall (with a friend or two) for FRP Summer Apprentices and Interns.
Parking for shows at Flat Rock Playhouse is a unique and challenging situation. It requires a core group of 8 people per show and volunteers would be enormously helpful.
Foster a vibrant theater community and develop new friendships by providing actors with personal airport shuttle service.
STATE THEATRE GARDENS
Enhance and maintain the beauty of FRP gardens. Experts and novices are welcome! Past projects include: The Monarch Butterfly Garden, The Little Library and Poppy Project. Help organize FRP’s Fall Plant Sale.
Ushers play a pivotal role at Flat Rock Playhouse. Participants have the chance to usher at every show during The Flat Rock Playhouse Season on the Leiman Family Mainstage. Responsibilities include greeting and assisting guests, scanning tickets, distributing programs, providing helpful insight to the grounds, and light clean up after shows. The program requires training prior to the first volunteer shift. The usher program is wildly popular, and we are grateful for such generous support. To learn more about ushering contact Ushers@Flatrockplayhouse.org.
