CURRENT PROJECTS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

FEED ME! TECH MEALS for our Technicians, Apprentices, and Non-Union Performers

Technical Rehearsal for our Mainstage shows is a busy process with long hours. Our technicians and non-equity company members get a limited amount of time for dinner break. Providing a hearty meal for them during this process will allow them to have a meal already prepared without having to leave property or take time for them to make it themselves. This means they can relax and enjoy their dinner break! Thank you so much for helping out! For more info: volunteer@flatrockplayhouse.org

PARKING

Parking for shows at Flat Rock Playhouse is a unique and challenging situation. It requires a core group of 8 people per show and volunteers would be enormously helpful. For more info: volunteer@flatrockplayhouse.org

TRANSPORTATION

Foster a vibrant theater community and develop new friendships by providing actors with personal airport shuttle service.

STATE THEATRE GARDENS

Enhance and maintain the beauty of FRP gardens. Experts and novices are welcome! Past projects include: The Monarch Butterfly Garden, The Little Library and Poppy Project. Help organize FRP’s Fall Plant Sale. For more info: volunteer@flatrockplayhouse.org

VOLUNTEER USHERS

Ushers play a pivotal role at Flat Rock Playhouse. Participants have the chance to usher at every show during The Flat Rock Playhouse Season on the Leiman Family Mainstage. Responsibilities include greeting and assisting guests, scanning tickets, distributing programs, providing helpful insight to the grounds, and light clean up after shows. The program requires training prior to the first volunteer shift. The usher program is wildly popular, and we are grateful for such generous support. To learn more about ushering contact Ushers@Flatrockplayhouse.org.
