Auditions for Rumpelstiltskin: a folk musical spin

Be part of something truly special! Playhouse Jr. is holding auditions for a brand new, world premiere musical — performed by Playhouse Jr. students alongside Flat Rock Playhouse Apprentices.

 

Spun from the classic Grimm Brothers' tale, this original show blends folk, rap, and percussion into a captivating score as it reimagines a story of gold, grit, and magic — and the courage it takes to spark real change.

Who:

Rising 4th–12th graders (limited roles available for 4th & 5th grade)

 

When:

Saturday, June 27th

• 4th–7th grade: 9:30 – 11:00 am

• 8th–12th grade: 11:30 am – 1:00 pm

 

What to expect:

Learn and perform a short song from the show, a dance combination, and a brief scene.
