Sing and dance your way through an entire musical in a week! Auditions are not required to be a part of this unique musical theatre experience. Students will study and perform songs, scenes and choreography from Seussical the Musical. You'll be guided by a professional and skilled director, choreographer, and music director, ensuring an unforgettable experience. Step behind-the-scenes as you learn all about the creation of the hit musical Footloose at Flat Rock Playhouse in this all-new, one-time-only camp. Learn from industry professionals as you explore songs, dances, scenes, and the history of the show. You will meet with members of the cast and creative team to learn about their process from script to stage, and get an inside look at the inner workings of a large-scale musical on the Flat Rock Playhouse Main Stage. From Broadway dance to technical theatre, this hands-on camp is perfectly suited for students who are passionate about theatre, curious about the process of a professional production, and interested in expanding their theatre skill set. End the week seeing the Friday Matinee. The price of your ticket is included in tuition! No previous experience required. Every program covers new material. Space is limited.

Join us for a fun-filled week where you'll discover the magic of creating dynamic relationships through theatre games, improvisation, and group scene work. We’ll focus on ensemble storytelling, character creation, physicality, and voice and speech. By the end of the week, you’ll feel more collaborative, creative, and ready to make bold choices both on stage and in life!
We’ll wrap things up with a performance for family and friends to show off what you’ve learned. No prior experience is needed, just bring your open mind and enthusiasm! With new material every session, this camp can (and should) be taken multiple times. Space is limited.
