We’re excited to introduce anew pre-show experience— Pre-Show Socials— limited one-hour gatherings in the Flat Rock Playhouse Front Garden designed to elevate your evening before the curtain rises. Enjoy performance-themed entertainment, delicious food and drinks, and a festive atmosphere inspired by the show.
Step into Regency England with an enchanting pre‑show Afternoon Tea in the garden, inspired by Pride and Prejudice.
Arrive early and ease into a scene of effortless elegance before the performance begins. Surrounded by fresh air and greenery, you’ll enjoy a refreshing selection of iced teas and house‑made lemonade, along with wine, beer, and a signature show‑themed cocktail crafted especially for the occasion.
Cool off with distinctive seasonal sips such as the Peach Earl Grey Spritz, blending black tea syrup, crisp white wine, and ripe peach, or the Pemberley Pear & Lavender Sparkler blending sparkling rosé with delicate pear nectar, lavender syrup, and a touch of lemon for a light, romantic sip, while a fragrant lavender garnish adds a fresh, floral finish.
Our featured menu, catered by local partner Mini‑Batch Bakery, offers a refined, seasonal take on traditional British afternoon tea, including:
