Flat Rock Playhouse will not have a Summer Apprentice program for our 2024 Season. We are excited to continue our Fall Apprentice Program with two Mainstage shows and our Playhouse Jr. Regional Tour. Don’t worry though! Our Summer Apprentice program will be back in 2025!

SEEKING strong singers and dancers. Must be able to work well with an ensemble

and live well in a group setting for an extended period. 

Free housing, some meals, and a $550-$700 weekly salary are provided. ​

Non Union Company Members may take some classes and perform some technical duties as needed. Other duties as assigned. 

 

Audition requirements for 

FALL 2024 APPRENTICE COMPANY:​

 

• ONLINE VIDEO SUBMISSIONS: March 1- April 12

  • Please send to: ApprenticeAudition@flatrockplayhouse.org

  • Send video links via YouTube, Vimeo, or a Dropbox link–no downloads for videos.

  • Please attach Headshot and Resume.

  • Please put your name in the subject line of the email.

Please include the following in your audition video submission:

1. Slate your name and age.

2. Videos must include: 

• Short dance video showing good technique and tap dancing if possible. 

• 32 bars of a song in the style of the shows with accompaniment. Songs sung a capella will not be accepted. 

• A short monologue is encouraged.

3. Please also share a short fun fact about yourself so that we can see your personality

4. Please share a brief statement about why you would like to be a Fall Apprentice at Flat Rock Playhouse

5. Two letters of recommendation are appreciated

 

We will accept video submissions from March 1- April 12

 

Callbacks / interviews will be held online.
