The Boxcar Children

March 9 through March 18 (Playhouse Downtown)
The Boxcar Children

Story by: Gertrude Chandler Warner
Adaptation by: Barbara Field

"Don't worry, kid. We Aldens stick together – like glue!" - Henry Last fall, the Flat Rock Playhouse YouTheatre took you and your family to Neverland as Peter Pan and the Lost Boys battled Captain Hook. In 2012, we have an all-new adventure for the entire family. From the beloved children's book series with over 100 titles, this enertaining and educational play tells the story of four orphaned children. When they discover that they are to be separated, they take matters into their own hands and create a home for themselves in an abandoned boxcar in the forest. Come visit the Playhouse Downtown with the whole family and experience the talent and imagination of our YouTheatre performers as they turn their boxcar into a playroom and home.
