"Good thing you're learning how to cook, Percy. way to a man's heart is still through his stomach or at least somewhere in that vicinity." - Shelby

Based on the award-winning film by Lee David Zlotoff, this new American musical, with a score tinged with Bluegrass and Folk, is unlike any before it. Percy Talbot has just been released from prison and is looking for a fresh start. She travels to the small town of gilead, wisconsin and finds a job at Hannah's Spitfire grill - the only eatery in the struggling town. Before long, the town of gilead is transformed forever by its newest resident who discovers the power of what one person can do. This heartwarming and funny musical triumph is an inspiring celebration of fresh starts in a story of salvation, forgiveness and redemption.
