Published annually with the opening of each season, the Playbill includes pertinent information about the Playhouse and each play, biographies of the performers, credits for the Directors, Designers and Technicians, kudos to our Celebrity contributors, and a host of regional businesses who value the arts and Flat Rock Playhouse. Flat Rock Playhouse hosts nearly 100,000 patrons annually and approximately 65% take their playbill as a souvenir and reference guide. A recent survey of Playhouse patrons presents the following statistics:
- At peak tourism times the Playhouse host a 50/50 mix of Local and Visiting Patrons
- 50% of out-of-town Patrons say the primary reason for visiting was to see a play
- During shoulder months local patrons make up 70% of attendance
- The top five states represented by Playhouse Patrons are NC, SC, GA, FL, VA
- The Playhouse Audience is composed of 60% female, 40% male
- Average Age – 55 years
