We’re bringing back the FLEX PLAN!
From the Times-News. October 30, 2105:
PLAYHOUSE BRINGS BACK TICKET PROGRAM
Back by popular demand, the Flat Rock Playhouse’s Flex Plan subscription package will once again be available to purchase – or even exchange – for current subscribers.
After the State Theatre of North Carolina announced its subscription plan for the 2016 season on September 1 with three packages, sales were strong, yet patrons voiced dissatisfaction at the disappearance of the longtime Flex Plan.
“We tried something new with our Flex Plan package this year and we’ve heard our patrons loud and clear – you don’t love it, so…we’re fixing it,” said Flat Rock Playhouse Artistic Director Lisa K. Bryant. “We said it was YOUR SEASON, and we meant it.”
The Playhouse had introduced the new Summer Musicals Plus Package this year as an alternative to the Flex Plan, but many patrons missed having the flexibility of choosing plays when it was convenient for them, not in advance.
On Monday, the Playhouse is reinstating the Flex Plan, a $280 package (excluding tax and fee) for eight tickets to any show in the season, excluding Music on the Rock.
Subscribers who have already purchased subscription plans for 2016 and wish to exchange a package for the Flex Plan will be able to do so by calling the Playhouse Box Office before December 11.
“We think this will be very good news to many of our loyal patrons,” said Bryant.
The new packages offer over 20% off regular ticket prices: twice the savings the Playhouse had been offering in previous years. Sales have been strong since the season opening, with the Box Office currently over $100,000 in sales compared to this time last year.
Tickets and subscription packages are available by calling the Flat Rock Playhouse at 828-693-0731 or by visiting the Box Office at the Playhouse Mainstage or Playhouse Downtown locations. Visit flatrockplayhouse.org for more information.
